Meet the Founders of the Influencer Academy

Nicole Rhea and Grant Sparks created The Influencer Academy with one mission: to bring real education and standards to an industry that has largely been figure-it-out-yourself.

As an influencer coach, agency founder, author, and entrepreneur, we’ve seen firsthand what happens when young creators jump online without the right foundation and they built this program to change that. The Influencer Academy exists to teach kids not just how to make great content, but how to stay safe online, protect their personal brand, and understand the space they’re stepping into.

Because the next generation of creators can succeed with the skills, confidence, and online safety tools to grow wisely in the digital world.

Questions parents actually ask

What does my child actually make?
One short-form video every day – five total by Friday. Each is filmed, edited, and finished before noon. On Friday they present their best one and the group votes on which would go the most viral.
What device do they need to bring?
Any smartphone – iPhone or Android with a working camera. Download CapCut (free) before day one. We send full instructions in your confirmation email.
What is the Creator Starter Kit?
A flexible octopus-style phone tripod with a wireless Bluetooth remote. Every camper gets one on day one and takes it home at the end of the week.
Do you post their videos online?
Nothing is posted without explicit parent permission. All content is delivered directly to you. The Friday virality vote winner may be featured on The Influencer Academy social accounts – only with your sign-off.
Who are the guest influencers?
Local Central Florida creators with real audiences. They join Tuesday for a workshop and return Friday for the showcase and awards. They’re mentors, not just visitors.
What if my child is shy on camera?
Perfect – some of the best content creators started exactly the same way. We build camera confidence gradually. Wednesday’s video doesn’t even require talking. By Friday, most kids surprise themselves.

Ready to give them a summer they'll actually remember?

Spots are capped at 25 per week. When a week is full, it moves to waitlist only.
